Four Picks for London Design Festival

London Design Festival kicks off this weekend and aside from our own event we’ll be taking in as much as we can that the city has to offer –

Twentytwentyone will be hosting ’At Home with the Days’, an exhibition and auction of items from the home of legendary designer couple Robin and Lucienne Day.

The V and A will host Terence Conran’s ’The Wish List’ project, where 10 established designers and architects such as Paul Smith, Richard Rogers and John Pawson have commissioned bespoke pieces from emerging young designers.

Unit D is a curated Pop-Up Shop and Restaurant celebrating local talent in craft, food and graphic arts. The shop will open daily selling homewares and craft items, with the restaurant serving unique meals each evening from a talented mix of amateur and professional chefs.

At the Vitsoe showroom MagCulture and Postcard Teas come together for the latest in the 620 ’Reading Room’ series. A curated selection of the world’s magazines will feature alongside a special magazine, Magmagmag made for the event. Postcard Teas (a favourite) will serve complimentary drinks between 2 and 4pm.
